ON SCREEN: Connect with child within
“The Magic Faraway Tree is a connection to the child within all of us,” Cinema representative Theresa Pavletich said.

MOVIE-GOERS are in for a “purely magical” experience at the St Arnaud Community Cinema this week.
In the next movie to screen, “The Magic Faraway Tree” follows the story of modern- day family relocates to the countryside.
It is here where the children discover a magical tree filled with eccentric residents and ever-changing worlds. where their imagination takes over, and the children are exported to magical places.
They travel to fantastical lands, and rekindle their family bond through adventures.
This is a quirky, strange and happy place where there is no Social Media, No WIFI and no technology of any kind.
This story provides the space for connection regardless of the character’s age, colour, thoughts or shape.
“The Magic Faraway Tree is a connection to the child within all of us,” Cinema representative Theresa Pavletich said.
“It is a place where children and adults can connect consciously and enjoy each other’s company.
“To explore the wonderment of this story a huge line up of the most talented and celebrated actors such as Andrew Garfield, Nicola Coughlan, Claire Foy, Simon Farnaby, Jennifer Saunders, Nonso Anozie, Claire Keelan and a host of others.
“This story is ageless and the magic of the movie will delight the audience regardless of age.”
Screenings will take place April 8 at 2pm and April 10 at 6.30 pm. Entry cost is $10 per person.
You will find the St Arnaud Community Cinema at 40 Napier Street, St Arnaud.
