Yellowbelly galore in angling competition
Despite the smaller field, anglers still enjoyed a successful competition with several quality yellowbelly landed across the weekend.

THE St Arnaud Angling Club held Competition 8 at Laanecorrie on May 16 and 17, with four men and two ladies taking part in the event.
Despite the smaller field, anglers still enjoyed a successful competition with several quality yellowbelly landed across the weekend.
Riley Burke caught two yellowbelly, with his biggest measuring 42cm, with a total length of 83cm. Riley’s efforts earned him the Men’s Biggest Bag award for the competition.
Leanne Burke also caught two yellowbelly, with her biggest fish measuring an impressive 45cm, with a total length of 86cm. Leanne was awarded Biggest Fish for the event.
The club would also like to thank everyone who supported the recent wood raffle fundraiser.
A fantastic total was raised through the raffle, with congratulations going to winner Leon Lynch.
